Honestly, the color of the lettuce is shoots the appeal right into cafeteria territory. If that were a greener portion of the lettuce, or maybe just de-ribbed. You’ve already got white on top of the burger, that part doesn’t look great. And trimming up your vegetables is free to do.
In the same vein, it’s curious that you’ve made a dressing style sauce, and not dressed the veg, also. I’d move either the dijonaise or the lettuce, probably the lettuce.
Patties look awesome, bun looks really great too – can tell from the glisten that it’s been heated, probably grilled. Height/width relation seems spot on, single cheese is a personal decision but if you stand by it I’m on board. Appropriate ratio of meat/veg/bread, and a double always gets a thumbs up from this rater who loves crusty surface area.
Overall I give it a 7.2 – I’d suggest looking into ways to envivid the burger as a whole, possibly add another dimension to take it out of the browns and whites visually. Could use the lettuce as a way to improve the burger, rather than exist on it.
Keepin-It-Positive
7.5 Because I’d skip the lettuce. Otherwise looks great!
