My first attempt at ever making my own burgers in a pan! I usually just throw my impossible burgers in the air fryer, but I bought my first cast iron and had inspiration.

I've spent three days seasoning my stargazer to get it nice and dark, have heard the horror of the first year splotchies on these smooth CIs. Felt that I needed to give it a real test run after making a pizza and a roasted cauliflower in it.

I’d eat it. Melting the cheese would take it up a notch tho

That beef looks disgusting honestly, finished product looks great though 👍

I’m curious, and not trying to judge, but why do vegans and vegetarians try to synthesize meat? Is it just because you miss real meat? Any time I’ve tried one of these meat alternatives it tastes awful, and I just figure that if I were to go meatless I would just eat something else. Like a black bean burger. It doesn’t pretend to be beef, but it’s still good

Ok they look way overcooked and seeing as they are plant based that is why they look so off. L
