  1. The DKAs are always solid. The cronuts are hit or miss. After trying about a dozen, I generally pass unless the flavor profile sounds fantastic. In fairness tho, some of the ones I loved sounded suspect at best.

    Wanted to love cronuts (have tried multiple flavors) but the filling to dough ratio is just so bad. Usually too sweet and the flavors rarely mesh well together. Just my opinion though, most people love them. DKA is so much better. Their chocolate chip cookie is also good.

  4. I wish they would import some of the stuff they had at [Deng Wen Li](https://maps.app.goo.gl/JsxG7pQhxCktDvpr9), their counterpart in Hong Kong, so I can try them out lol.

    Deng Wen Li closed earlier this year but their menu looks pretty insane and I like that they tailored some of the existing desserts/pastries from Dominique Ansel to be more suitable for the taste of people from HK. Like for the Cookie Shot, the shot glass is a cookie Yakult bottle and you get milk tea instead of milk.

    I think they did have the [“Thousand Layer Hot Dog”](https://www.instagram.com/reel/Co-NaatDcwC/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==) last year at the Dominique Workshop. It’s basically a spin off on a Chinese hot dog bun but the bun is a croissant lol.
