They were pretty delicious. I finally figured out how to really smash the Pattie’s at the end. Next time around they’ll be better.

  3. It’s hard to tell from the pictures but I think you need to go thinner. 1/4 inch or so thickness

    Thinner. Keep patties to 4oz or under. What are u using to smash?

    That’s a better looking burger than you can get in almost any restaurant. But if you smash them a little thinner they will be perfect. I would still pay money for them as they are.

    The trick is to drag out the edges. A true smash has thin crispy caramelized edges.
