Cattle rancher and beef exporter here, Oklahoma sadly has some of the loosest regulations on beef quality in the world. Oklahoma beef consistently tests positive for fertilizer contamination as crops grown with fertilizer made from contaminated wastewater biosolids are routinely fed to their cattle. This is extremely hazardous to humans and is not cooked out of beef like bacteria. Oklahoma also had the worst quality of life rating for cattle, often living in their own feces for months before getting butchered. The state is widely known for these practices in the cattle industry.
