I’m a nyc native and just started to try and find new places to eat. This is from a Syrian restaurant in London called Arnabeet it’s a mix between traditional Syrian and street food. I got batata hara and lamb fatteh. I prefer the street food vibe rather than sitting down at a restaurant. Please let me know !!

Unfortunately, most Syrian spots are on Main St in Paterson. However, you can find pretty similar food from other Levant spots such as in Bay Ridge in BK. Batata Hara is for instance on the menu at many Lebanese spots and you can find fatteh on the menu at some spots.
Tl;dr version if you want fast casual similar food, the closest thing I’d recommend is Manousheh. They have fatteh. Also Ayat which has locations in Brooklyn and Manhattan
This Syrian restaurant is amazing but unfortunately for you it’s in deeeep Staten Island.

Sorry if this isn’t helpful, but the photo reminds me a lot of the Georgian food at Chama Mama: https://www.chamamama.com/menus/#food
syrian new yorker here, sadly it’s pretty difficult to find food like that because the syrian population in the NYC area is pretty small. It’s much easier in places like chicago or canada. Someone already mention Laila in this thread but that’s the only one I know of that’s straight up syrian, other options are all the restaurants in patterson but they’re mostly palestinian and won’t have stuff like that. EDIT: oh there’s also SYKO which serves fatteh for brunch and they’re really good!
Joon at Queen’s night market is Persian but looks like there’s a lot of overlap
