Looks very nice! Curious if you do something specific to make the cookie dough food-safe? I figure there must be a way to do it since commercially sold ice cream has cookie dough in it, but have never looked into it.

Someone posted a similarly decorated cake awhile back and asked for opinions on the rolled balls of cookie dough vs. torn chunks of cookie dough as garnish on top. The overwhelming response was that the balls of dough made people think of the dough being “handled” too much and therefore off-putting.
That said, it is a beautiful cake and I love the rolled out “cookies” on the side.
