My wife and I went to Rania (1* Michelin Indian) this weekend. Really outstanding. I recommend trying a cocktail; each presentation is unique, as we watched different tables receive theirs. Service and timing was excellent. The smoked black dal, staffed morels, and the lamb were all outstanding.

1) Make Me Famous cocktail – Angel’s Envy Rye, aronia juice, tart cherry, rosehips, vermouth di torino, orange zest.

2) Amuse-Bouche.

3) Stuffed Morels, Truffle malai, grilled asparagus.

4) Lamb Cheela, red onion laccha, buttermilk mousse.

5) Beef Short Rib, saffron nihari, shiitake mushrooms.

6) Smoked Black Dal.

7) Chocolate Tart, barley ice cream.

  1. I really enjoy Rania as well, each dish has a great combo of fun/unexpected flavors. You’re making me want to go back, those stuffed morels look incredible. (I do miss some of their dishes from the old Punjab Grill though! The jackfruit biryani was to die for.)
