After 4 years, I’ve finally mastered the crackly/shiny top for brownies!

I started making brownies in 2020 (in the 5th picture), and although they tasted nice, they never had the classic fudgy texture and shiny top that I wanted! While cookies have been my biggest focus for the last few years, in recent months I've been really trying to achieve that dream brownie, with some ups and downs in my progress with it. Pictures 3 and 4 are some recent batches which were fine but not perfect.

Last week, however, I finally got exactly what I wanted! I've always used the exact same recipe but made slight changes. Last week I made the exact changes! I recreated the recipe today to be certain I could do it, and it was exactly what I was looking for! I'm so happy with them 😋 (pictures 1+2 are the last 2 week's successes!).
