All American Pressure Canner was a great investment!

It does 7 quarts or 18 pints in a run, usually 60 minutes at 12 psi, I make a big pot of 12 bean vegetarian chili with garden vegetables ahead of time, so contents are hot going into sterile jars, canner takes about 20 minutes to heat up and 20 to cool down, I can soup and stew about once a month, shelf stable for a year+ LOVE my canner!

  2. I also have an All American. It’s been going strong for a couple of decades now.

The only downside is it isn’t compatible with my new induction stovetop, so I had to get an electric hotplate. Which actually was kind of a boon, because on hot days I can put it outside or in the garage. Or if I’m doing water bath canning, I can have one more burner available to increase productivity.
