Somewhat experienced canner.

So I want to get some of those teeny tiny jars (1-1.5oz) and put little jelly samples in them to hand out on occasions but they just have the plain metal lids on a glass jar.

Do they can just the same, you think? Never used anything but mason jars. Thanks!

These would not be recommended as they don’t have the 2 piece lids that are designed for home canning. I also personally wouldn’t trust them to tolerate the heat of the canner either. You could use them for fridge/freezer jams or jellies but I wouldn’t recommend canning with them.

Can you tiny cans do the Cancan? (just kidding)

I would recommend canning in with 4oz jars which will fit the standard canning lid.
