Dave Levy a 32-year-old executive chef from Chester New Jersey would go on to become an HK Legend after his performance in season 6 but how exactly did he become an HK icon well today we’ll be going through all his moments in the show from every confessional to every Challenge and dinner service moment as we’ll look at what the editing was trying to tell us in hindsight along with just the general story of Dave Levy season 6 run thank you to Once Upon on island for the idea of these Story videos and be sure to check out his channel if you like the style of videos with all that said let’s take a look at the incredible journey of the armed Bandit Dave Levy It’s the premere episode and this would go down as an extremely quiet episode for Dave both confessional and moments wise as he was only highlighted at the C dish challenge before Ramsey tasted his dish we got a pretty ironic first confessional with Dave saying I’ve definitely idolized Chef Ramsey for years if Chef Ramsey takes my Dash and tells me it’s crap I think it could seriously do permanent mental damage to me so just like that a lot of pressure is on Dave to make a good Dish as not only is a good first impression important in general but some bad words from Ramsey could mentally hurt him for the entire competition oh dear why are these brussel sprouts undercooked brussel sprouts it’s like heartbreaking that he didn’t like that but there’s no excuse for undercooked vegetables you’re right piss off both of you neither of you gets the points so judging by this disappointing first dish it seems as if this could really affect Dave throughout the competition but as We Know Dave would have to go through a lot more actual pain this season than the anguish of a somewhat disappointing signature dish and with that that is all from Dave Levy in the premiere one of the most invisible winter premieres ever and other than his resume the audience knows he’s very passionate and wants to desperate do well in the competition something to keep in mind throughout the rest of the video episode two now and Dave’s por showing would actually continue as Dave would only produce four shrimp at the reward challenge the second worst on The Blue Team Dave give it to me let’s go sack not even cut all the way down the sack ends there 34 luckily the blue team would win reward despite his poor showing earning a day of lunch with Ramsay that included a trip on a yacht during that reward we’ll get one of many fores shouting moments when it comes to Joseph this season as Dave had this to say about his partner from The Challenge I don’t really care Joseph these are complete he’s a little hotheaded you know he’s being a little too intense and the way he disrespects chef Rams it now while on paper this might just seem like the Eds are simply trying to highlight Joseph’s eventual Outburst this could also be a ploy on their part to try to get the audience on the side of Dave going forward saying bad things about Joseph who would obviously be remembered by HK fans for all the wrong reasons after this episode it’s dinner service now and once again Dave is not highlighted which as we know is actually not a bad thing especially this early on since of course HK wants to highlight all the mistakes but it also could be concerning that we’re not getting any good highlights from Dave thus far especially since his first two challenge performances have been soar nonetheless after both teams are named losers it’s the blue team’s first nomination debate and after Tony nominates himself Dave would be the main one to bring up Andy’s performance on the meet station the other option for that night was van with Van even losing on Jim for bringing up his name in the first place but nonetheless Andy and Tony would be the nominees that night and thus it appears that Dave could have some leeway or general respect within the blue team since Andy would indeed be nominated over van and during the infamous nomination ceremony that night we of course would see Joseph’s meltdown followed by Tony’s elimination and just like that the blue team lose two members in one night and while bad for the team in general great for Dave’s winning chances episode three now the episode where Dave of Levy’s iconic status would begin the episode will begin with the teams having to cook pasta dishes for firefighters with Dave once again not being highlighted in a good or bad light during this albeit challenge service The Blue Team would end up losing their first challenge with their punishment being they had to clean the fire trucks and dining room and while cleaning the fire truck I was scrubbing the truck my hand got stuck so I yank it out I thought my wrist start to swell up right away but I kind of HD it from the guys cuz I didn’t want anybody to know do you have little ice packs for like a wrist my wrist is really screwed up it was really swollen yeah that hurt yeah it’s just because it feels like the bones touching the skin what did they say I have a torn fcr and a slight fracture of the wrist I got bad news they told me I definitely had a t ligament and a little fracture so after being pretty invisible for the first two episodes all of a sudden Dave is now in some ways the center point of the Season as all eyes are now on him and how he can possibly go through Hell’s Kitchen with one arm and not only that but he’s most likely undoubtedly a fan favorite now or at least someone impossible to root against for the general audience as you have to respect someone fighting through the pain in already extremely difficult environment however before service Ramsey would state that there would be a waiter from each team that night and before he could even pick anyone Dave would volunteer himself for blue so blue team oh you’re going to be the server yes you got it a one arm bandit I volunteered to be the waiter tonight cuz I don’t want to hold the team back in the kitchen now there’s actually a lot to take away from this as yes this makes Dave seem like even more of a hero to the audience not wanting to drag his team down with his injury but at the same time this isn’t a good sign that he’s already having essentially set out dinner Service as he obviously can’t set out forever and if he does perform during dinner service would he be able to do anything even remotely effective nonetheless for this episode Dave would do fine out in the dining room so all in all obviously important episode in Dave’s Journey as with his injury there’s so much to ponder about how the rest of his HK run will go but regardless he’s without question a fan favorite now due to fighting through his injury and now a main character of the season with his broken wrist story line episode four now an important episode to see how Dave’s First full episode with his broken wrist will go at the reward challenge with Ramsey being who he is he would put Dave and Kevin on on the same station together for the sausage challenge with Kevin of course breaking his ankle the previous episode to go along with Dave’s injury despite this they would produce two of the four total sausages for the blue team and even though they would lose this would be Dave’s best challenge and overall performance in general thus far ironically coming in his first outing with one arm after the challenge though we would get another big turning point in Dave’s story as it started to become abundantly clear that his wrist was holding him back and his future in Hell’s Kitchen was in serious Jeopardy leading to an emotional talk with Gordon Ramsey you go up to the dorm there’s an important phone call regarding your stud I review the MRI you have a fracture okay is to put you in a long arm cast for a period of two weeks you will not be able to move your thumb it’s going to be very difficult for you to compete essentially that’s what it is I gave up everything to come here I’ll never get another chance like this in my life and the thought of having it taken away from me is just it’s like it’s like total despair it would be a great shame for you to exit now on the back of you know uh a ligament tear problem you have an important decision to make you’ve got to decide are you going to stay in House’s Kitchen yes chef I’m so committed to working for you and to this dream nothing could stop me I did not want to go home today and I know I have the skill to win this game so for the first half of service we don’t know what’s going to happen to Dave as he’s leading in the hospital heck we could get an update any time now that he won’t be returning back to the kitchen but then right when the blue team was falling apart but their missing teammate returns to lend a helping hand Dave I want you on desserts please with that car fresh I want it over there yes let’s go I don’t understand how Dave’s going to make it through this with just one arm I just jumped on desserts and I busted out behind behind thank you keep it up Dave you’re doing great he’s got one in action yeah and he’s working quicker than anyone if Dave wasn’t already beloved for he’s now 100% the fan favorite of the season with his amazing performance and not only that but this episode also proves that he can still perform with one arm despite the doubts from the previous episode The Blue Team would end up winning service and thus Dave’s one-armed story line is now officially locked in for the season as we know he’s good enough to stay in the competition and performed decently well now it’s just a matter of if he can keep it up the entire season episode 5 now and with Dave being the front and center of the season along with Kevin it will be interesting to see just how much time his One Arm story line continues to get and the episode immedately opens up with another segment about his injury showing the difficulties he has just living the normal life in the dorms I might need a chicken popy do we have any of those yeah freezer I don’t have a thumb on my left hand to work with it’s completely uh immobile can we hold that for you no I have to be able to like do things myself again this is yet another moment of Sympathy for the audience to feel for Dave while also setting up the ABS Sandy he’ll be able to pull off with one arm in the future and speaking of we get a sneak peek of that during dinner service Dave’s first official service being in the kitchen the entire night with one arm he was paired with Andy on the meets who had his doubts about Dave but safe to say Dave would prove him wrong and continue to shock everyone with his performance Dave you got to get him going now in a pan in the oven I am a little concerned for Dave in his hand chill I got it you’re freaking me out Andy get off my station dude cuz I know what I’m doing with Dave single-handedly delivering another entree to the pass amazing amazing amazing diners on the blue side are enjoying their food thanks to Dave the blue te would end up winning that night and if there was any doubts that he can’t get the job done with one arm that’s now fully out the window as Dave is now shown he can go through an entire surface with one arm and not just survive but be a little standout in the kitchen I think now it’s at this point where fans can really start to consider Dave the front runner to win the season episode 6 now and after going from a nobody to a fan favorite and general favorite to win Dave would have a pretty big letdown episode for his standards it would begin at the reward challenge where Dave and Andy would have to make an under 700 calorie dish with the two making a dish so bad that Ramsey literally laughed at it and come on when Chef Ramsey laughed it definitely like stung I feel like a loser it tastes foul that’s the kind of crap you serve when you just come out of a hot Bypass or an ulcer oper ation that’s a joke back in line Dave and then during service Dave would make his first dinner service mistake of the entire season cooking the wrong garnish dish un order pork special yes I’m going up with your garnish hey you don’t even know what you’re doing cuz you’re cooking something we don’t even need momentarily I spaced which dishes when with which garnishes he serious now can you wake up yes you screwing your team yes despite this we wouldn’t see any other good or bad Mo from Dave this service and his name wouldn’t even come up during the nomination debates as there had been much worse performances and thus that would end up relatively quiet and even arguably Bad episode for Dave but then again I guess we were due for a let down after the incredible past three episodes on to episode seven now and while Dave is obviously no danger of going home anytime soon this will be an important episode edit wise for him to bounce back but safe to say it didn’t start out too well as he gave possibly the worst answer in Hell Kitchen history when it comes to the biggest rooll challenge and F what goes well with head Come On Dave uh come on figs I don’t know [Music] figs um despite there being other bad answers as well the blue team and edit really focus on Dave’s horrendous answer and again after L getting laed out by Ramsey the previous episode now pretty much everyone is laughing at him during this challenge but nonetheless The Blue Team would be able to overcome Dave’s hilariously bad answer and thus it could be possible that the editors were simply just trying to highlight this amazing win by the blue team as opposed to mocking Dave for the sake of mocking him and during the reward we’ go from a terrible edit to a clear winner for shouting edit with Dave saying here we are Palm Casino and Resort living like kings and a VIP Suite when you’re cruising Chef Ramsey style you’re cruising High style it’s insane again Dave highlights living like Gordon Ramsey and given the winner of Hell’s Kitchen is Ramsey’s prote who’s going to be living the good life I think the editors knew what they were doing by showing this confessional from Dave and speaking of Ramsey protes before service Ramsey announced that for the first time in Hell’s Kitchen history there be VIPs in the kitchen with the guest being executive chefs from Gordon Ramsey’s restaurants and in a bit of a coincidence and more foreshadowing Ramsey would have Dave wait on the VIP table I want to make sure you guys got taken care of cuz if you don’t that would be the worst possible case scenario we’re going to work it out for you what’s the advertising for the chef table two Roto thank you do we order Roto no do we get any choices Come On Dave push it out one me Trooper hanging in with the uh broken arm here’s two samples of the risoto for you to try right now not bad huh it felt great to get compliments from such highly esteemed chefs very nice result thank you Chef so despite a bit of a mess up and not letting the chefs decide what to order Dave passed his test in front of Ramsey’s part JS with flying colors and and not only that he would have an incredible night on the app station alone getting the blue kitchen off to an awesome start unfortunately the rest of the blue team service would be a train wreck with Ramsey naming them as losers however there was one Chef that stood out tonight and he did it with one arm Dave you were in front of the red kitchen with appetizers Dave clearly the best of the worst think of two of your team that’s up for elimination so yeah not only did Dave do well but he literally won the best of the worst on the first ever VIP nights in Hell’s Kitchen history my goodness talk about making up for last episode in the absolute most dominant of ways with Van Andy and Robert being the obvious chefs on The Chopping Block Dave would make a decision that while Ramsey would end up disagreeing with the edit backed up as Robert essentially verbally harassed Andy after service and Dave being The Lovable Chef that he is decided to protect Andy by putting up Robert and Van instead and while Ramsey did think Andy and Robert should have been the nominees you can’t really do Dave here as Robert would get the boot anyway so after a disappointing previous episode Dave would have the epitome of a winners edit episode here as there was plenty of fores shouting winner quotes along with him winning the best of the worst on such an important night and any doubts about Dave as a front runner can be put the rest with this episode episode 8 begins with a bit of an interesting statement from Dave following Robert’s elimination with him saying I think that Rob was Stronger during service Robert was a skilled chef and Andy was chosen over him if he up again there’s no way in hell he’s getting another chance now now while it is odd that he would say this considering he lit nominated Robert over Andy this just further proves that Dave simply didn’t improve of Robert’s behavior from the previous episode and felt nominating him was the right thing to do so take that for what you will anyway the final nine challenge would be the blind taste test Challenge and remember the previous five winners had all gotten at least one correct answer during this challenge so this test is very important for Dave’s winner chances as obviously a bad pallet is a huge no no for Ramy both of them correctly identify turkey yeah but failed to do the same for them zucchini lime ofin open up a fruit included in the Hell’s Kitchen menu what is that please pumpkin egg Yol open up Dave what is that squash Come On Dave egg Yol man I got one out of four so I’ll give myself an F so while obviously not a great performance at least it wasn’t a complete dud as that honestly could have had some serious negative implications on Dave’s winning chances after not much of substance during the blue punishment we now go on service and it’s clear at this point in the edit that Andy is the weakest Chef on the blue team and so David put on a master class on how to help a seeking teammates I’m not going to make it on potatoes I’m out of mash can anybody help me with potatoes I’ll get the potatoes thank you I rushed into the back of the house I grabbed some I got all these potato ends I can make mash with that give me your pant give me your here here look at the speed of Dave and just watch Andy I have it already Chef okay thank you with Dave stepping up to the plate The Blue Team manages to send out all of their Entre so once again another great episode for Dave as yes while he had a disappointing blind taste test it wasn’t a complete failure and he essentially won another best of the worst this service with his performance once again earning praise from Ramsey we are officially halfway through the competition now as we started with 16 contestants and now they’re eight and thus it’s more important than ever for Dave to continue to shine as the finale Pres which is however he would get off to yet another bad start making an awful crepe dessert and costing The Blue Team reward unfortunately for Dave his presentation is less than satisfactory holy looks like a plate of diarrhea yeah Chef it looks like diarrhea man I ain’t eating it I asked for a CRP not a plate of crap yes chef after the challenge Dave would comment on his performance stating I don’t know what to say guys I’m sorry we had a horrible loss this morning I’ll be working very hard nonstop I have to prove myself or I know I’m history now again while obviously being a bad challenge competitor isn’t the end I’ll be all in Hell’s Kitchen this is another example of Dave wanting to prove himself as he also knows just getting by at this point in the competition won’t cut it and once again Dave would make up for his Lowe’s in the absolute best of ways during service basically working two stations the entire night after Andy cut his finger before service I said I was going to help Andy all night but uh I’m really getting pummeled L please coming right up where’s the Roto I have a rotto where’s the Steak and steti let’s go rotto please yes tell yes chef right here now coming up right up to the window Chef all on the window Dave don’t take this the wrong way but your 10,000 times better cook with one hand wo I mean yet another amazing performance given the circumstances and with all due respect to Andy the fact that he will struggle even more than you ual with a bad finger shows how incredible it is that Dave has been able to not just survive but dominate Hell’s Kitchen services with one arm Ramsey would even reference Dave’s hand once again when Indy brought up his finger during nomination ceremony all but sealing his fate and just like that there’s now seven chefs left in the competition having massive dexterity problems it’s my left hand that I cut my left hand that I use there’s a guy standing behind you he’s been cooking for the last four Services one hand severe pain Andy give me a jacket please yeah episode 10 now the last episode before the black jackets and while Dave seems all but a lck a lot can change at this point in the competition and once again the episode would start off lousy for Dave producing yet another bad challenge dish with still only one good challenge performance All Season man he truly probably would have been a cook for your life boot on a new school season the sauce it’s kind of scary looking if you had to choose between the red or blue which one would you uh go for definitely the red just had a lot more complexity more flavors Johnny if you had to choose between the red and the blue what would it be please I think I would go with the red nonetheless The Blue Team would win the challenge but after their reward we would see another winner quote from Dave I’m just going to mentally prepare myself for what might be coming tomorrow when you’re in Hell’s Kitchen the best thing to do is be ready for war at all times again this is a prototypical winter quote especially this late in the competition as Dave is reassuring all of us that despite how good he’s been he’s not going to let his foot off the gas pedal during dinner service though we would see for the first time all season Dave’s arm really affect him during service in a painful way sauce that shot up to my elbow and that shot up to my ear and I just felt my whole body like twist like this I got to see the medic you can move him a little bit though it’s just not a good idea cuz it sends horrific pain signals down here nervous that I’m not going to be able to perform but I’m not a quitter and I’m here to win let’s go daab I need a bis yeah I got a bis working Chef right here Chef bis in the window it’s just absolutely unreal how someone can be an excruciating pain one minute to being a badass in the kitchen the next while maybe not his most dominant performance compared to when he was basically working two stations by himself with one arm this is arguably his most gty outing thus far fighting through the pain for his team both teams would end up losing that night with Sabrina get in the boots over van and just like that it’s now an individual game with only five people in Dave Levy’s way from pulling off the impossible episode 11 now and as mentioned it’s no longer blue versus red as the man who almost had to be metac would earn a black jacket yeah black coats Man black coats I consider Hell’s Kitchen like climbing Mount Everest so now it’s a scramble to the summit despite the now being an individual competition the final six will be split into three pairs with Dave’s partner being Suzanne without question the least likable Chef for the other chefs there and the audience watching at home what’s even funnier is that Dave completely threw her under the bus at the previous nomination ceremony L saying he thought she was weaker than van despite van being the nominee that night nonetheless the two would work well with each other during the tast and notm it challenge as is incorrectly identified turbo after Dave thought was H AIT while Dave correctly got passion fruit as a sauce which was a Difference Maker as he and suzan won reward and even though it wasn’t by himself this was obviously a big challenge win for Dave after doing so poorly at them during the team portion of the competition only one of you but the fruit that was in the base the winning Duo is Dave and Suzanne the source is passion fruit during the reward though we would get an interesting scene where part of the reward was getting the talk to season 4 winner Christina and while it mostly just turned into a funny Montage of Suzanne being Suzanne it would be some ironic foreshadowing as Dave would of course join Christina as a winner except he would be far more beloved both inside and outside the kitchen as opposed to her and of course Dave would have a bit of a thing for her when they both returned and cooked in the kitchen together I’ve met Christina once before and she’s hot can you get me some more pant I don’t have any pant I’ll do it but I could do a lot more than that however when both Suzanne and Dave returned they got the cold shoulder from the others and Dave wasn’t too happy about it so happy to be back in the kitchen can I help anybody nothing if I prove Pro myself in service I can sit and spin I don’t give a this is really the first villainous moment we’ve seen from Dave this season but even then I feel it can be justified given it’s pretty Petty that the others were ignoring both him and Suzanne simply because they won reward anyway it’s the first black jacket dinner service now and this would go down as one of the worst black jacket Services ever but Dave had nothing to do with it as it was mainly van Suzanne and Ariel that tanked leading to ramsy and suf Scott to literally walk out in the middle of service and frustrated think van you’re sweating in the food Ariel and Suzanne now you scream restaurant oh did a horrible job SC okay come here can’t take it anymore I cannot take it anymore I can’t take it anymore oh dear I’ve never done that no one’s ever pushed me that far to actually just disappearing in my own restaurant you you you off will yeah let’s go let’s go let’s go let’s go last table good day fish I think that’s going to do it well thank you for the effort we finished we got through yes after van Ariel and Suzanne got kicked out tal Kevin and Dave would finish service and thus they were tasked with who to put up for elimination that night and while Dave’s Outburst from earlier could be considered villainous we would 100% see Dave Play Dirty here as he tried to nominate Ariel and Suzanne KN and Van would be much easier to beat despite also realizing he deserved to go up for elimination if I had to choose who I really think should go up it would be Suzanne on Van strategically I’m going to put up Ariel uh Suzanne are you I think that’s decided again this is pretty shocking to see from someone like Dave who literally did the exact opposite earlier in the season however at the nomination ceremony his plan to save van would go up in Flames when Suzanne and Van should be up there Chef Harel Suzanne van step forward with van up for elimination there was simply no way Ramsey could Overlook his downfall as he became the first black jacket eliminated so a very interesting episode for Dave as while he would once again dominate service and even won the first black jacket challenge this was the first episode you could say he displayed some villainous moments which is pretty uncommon for Hell’s Kitchen winners It’s the final five now and Dave continues to act pretty villainous going off on tinel after she went away from the plan to nominate Suzanne and Ariel why did you change your mind up there make me look like a we didn’t all agree we agreed that we were going to stay United with our choice she’s a [ __ ] she’s got no place in Hell’s Kitchen anymore I wish I had your honest opinion before we went out there let’s not be naive you I hate this place it’s now the first individual reward Challenge and this is Dave’s first true opportunity to shine in a challenge as an individual unfortunately he would not only get beat by Kevin and Ariel but he had a complete mind bling when talking to the editors of bone appetite magazine when presenting his dish tell me about your dish yeah it’s a pants uh yellow uh I don’t speak well in front of crowds sauce is actually a is a is is uh it could not come to my to my mind the name of my dish is sorry I now while public speaking to strangers and running the kitchen are obviously two different things it’s still probably not a good sign that Dave is literally struggling to present a dish as that’s just simply not what you’d expect from an executive chef at a Gordon Ramsey restaurant and after Dave realizes he’ll have to be with toil during the punishment he would have this to say about it the fact that I have to be near toil today makes me nauseous if I hear toil bitching I’ll lose my mind so yeah while it’s definitely between Dave and Kevin at this point tenil has been quietly dominated H for a while as well and thus these past two episodes displaying villainous moments and a general terrible look at the reward challenge does make the audience begin to wonder if we’re being set up for Dave just falling short however following the punishment we would see quite the villainous moment from Dave’s biggest competition as he tried to push Dave to quit after his hand once again started to act up something just pulled you you need to think of of Dave first and is this worth it he truly poses a threat to me winning I want him to leave this competition I have to watch my back everybody is hoping that my broken R is going to send me home so all of a sudden this could be an interesting service to see how Dave does as the Ed is in some way is no longer backing him up as the competition wides down and for the first time in a while we’re seeing his injury really start to get the best of him and with Ramsey being ramsy he will put the two Rivals up to Neil and Dave on the apps together making for a very interesting service like salads or anything no what I personally can’t stand to knal but I will never bring conflict onto the kitchen floor never now your tuna right here Chef thank you service please so despite the edit having the audience believed that Dave might be finally starting a falter he would not only dominate service once again but put his differences aside with his enemy to help her through surface as well and after Suzanne would be eliminated we’re now down the four and after an iffy couple of episodes Dave is still the front runner to win as he continues to defy the odds episode 13 the episode where Dave’s arm would really play a major factor in this end game and in my opinion the episode where any chance of Kevin or chil beating him would be put with the rest as we would see arguably the most inspirational performance in Hell’s Kitchen history at the reward challenge the chefs would be making food for children and while Dave wouldn’t win he would have one of his better performances coming in second place but was ironically beaten by tal which would continue their mini rivalry at dinner service Dave would be assigned to the meets obviously a tough station to work by herself much less with one arm an arm that was really affecting him now L please going to the window ship the nerve in my WR just shot up to my elbow and that shut up to my ear Dave Dave I need you to get that seen to okay come here I’m fine no matter how messed up my wrist is I can take the pain and I’m here to stay lamb please two lamb coming to the window sh yeah despite his injury two lamb coming to the window Dave manages to complete the first Entre despite the absolute pain he was in here Dave still dominated an entire station by himself again probably his most amazing performance yet considering just how much his arm and overall health had to be affected him this late into the game as opposed to before nonetheless despite teil having an awful night Dave is extremely worried he’s going to go home regardless due to his arm with Ramsey even bringing this up after service I’ve never ever ever seen a chef suffer with that amount of pain you may not be able to continue in this competition I feel fine this this hand is fine like I’m fine I’m fine please don’t take me out of this unless you think I’m not a good enough Chef then take me out but not cuz of my RIS I hear you but I’m watching new CF luckily Ramsey would allow Dave to continue fighting as tenil would be eliminated right after service and thus Dave now has a one and three chance of winning this competition with a huge competitor now gone however before the episode ended Ramsey would call the final three down with Ramsey giving Dave a heart attack only to surprise him with his fiance and sister I was wondering if I’d made the right decision by keeping you here after a lot of thought my decision is I know I did Dave your fiance McKay and your sister Allison [Music] what you don’t realize how much you miss somebody until you get to see Dam again just been like so weird being in this isolation no words can describe how I felt one of you is going to be the head chef of the araxi restaurant in Whistler you’re that close after weeks of pain and even almost Cena his dream come to an end due to his injury Dave now has new life after Cena’s loved ones as he is now one round away from making it to the finale at the final three reward challenge the chefs are tasked to cook a foreign Cuisine dish with Dave get stuck with an Indian dish something he simply didn’t have much experience with so after struggling All Season at the challenges it looked like Dave was in for another bad review however what I have here is Ming Bean puree the lentils were done very creatively y first try amazing that’s very good I can’t believe it I’ll be picked uh Indian thank you Chef I’d have to go with Dave it was very nice that was the go for Dam fre new everyone yeah well done day I’m psyched man I can’t believe I pulled this off looks like I do know how to cook Indian food Dave’s reward would be he got to spend the day with his loved ones while getting lunch prepared by the judges from The Challenge and obvious motivation for the most important night of his life thus far as of course in this service each of the final three will take a turn at the pass this is obviously a huge moment for Dave as of course we’ve seen that ramsy could care less about how good of a line cook you are if you can’t leave the kitchen and to make things even tougher he would be the first one to run the pass so let’s see how he does I need that asparagus with seasoning go Heather come on when Dave took over the pass it was very intense use a wooden spoon come on what are you doing 2 on two Roto I’ve been waiting let’s go come on Chef Scott clear down the now Chef Dave quiet for a second JP to rot let’s go to Roto here it comes in my hand go stop there’s not an ounce of asparagus anywhere and it was done with a spinach puree you’ve got to taste Dave yeah Chef T tuna focus on your dish focus on your dish focus on your dish yes no come on come on there’s no sesame seeds on there it just rolling herbs you’ve got to look at what you’re doing I really need to get it together and I know I’m a great chef and I know I’m a great leader tuna salad right here we sh this this is cold welled good let’s go where’s the H there’s no salt on this asparagus good that’s good management EXC need more salt and the potatoes I felt as if I really got into my groove so a very interesting run at the past all things considered as Dave did surprisingly well as a leader despite some possible fores shotting earlier that he was struggle but failed two important quality control test and unfortunately for him both Kevin and Ariel also did decently well at the past despite some mistakes here and there after service the chefs are task to nominate one person for the along with giving a plea on why they should be in the final two with Dave saying I felt most lost when Ariel was up at the pass I believe it should be Ariel I deserve to be in the final because I’ve LED myself throughout this competition and I I can run a kitchen the kitchen won’t run me so after the long and grueling days it all comes down to this will Dave be able to fight his way into the final two Dave congratulations congratulations Dave Dave’s opponent would of course be Kevin as Ariel was eliminated and thus the two men who injured their arm and leg respectively within a span of 10 minutes would make up the season’s final two seriously you cannot script this stuff so we’re now on to the finale and Dave is shocked to be in the final two after all he’s been through at the final reward challenge of the Season Dave and Kevin are tasked to make five ises with the winner gain the first pick for their finale Brigade while in all honesty this challenge doesn’t really mean that much it would be great for Dave after a season long of Challenge failures to not only win the last one but beat such strong competition in Kevin can you pull it off with Dave CH I can’t believe I won I’m super stuck so with the first pick Dave would smartly choose Ariel and chose Robert and Suzanne afterwards and when preparing his menu he kept things relatively simple compared to Kevin who would make some very fancy dishes so now officially all comes down to this the biggest night of Dave ley’s life as he will now lead his finale Brigade in hopes of winning his own restaurant and a quarter of a million dollars things were start off well with Robert on appetizers until the two got into it a bit after conflict on how many mushrooms to put into a risotto all we got left for mushrooms go easy be careful that’s got a lot lighter yeah why does that change color we’re sending a completely different dish but we were down on mushrooms and he told me to put last in there I said just don’t go crazy with the mushroom Dave was just covering his monkey ass you don’t cross the line my friend so now I must with you C bro come on Robert oops you dropped it I’m not around right now everything has to be perfect oh then on Entre Dave’s number one overall pick would unfortunately struggle on the ever so important meat station which led to the kitchen falling behind with Ramsey needed to have a one-on-one with Dave to get things back on track this is no good well done it’s garbage I can’t serve this is medium you have to give me another one how’s this meat being cooked now it’s going pale and gray Hing new venison we’re having trouble with these it’s not trouble it’s just lazy cooking just listen to me two seconds it’s you now no now it’s you I’m not your friends in that cooking don’t let me down you guys can do this put in the convection oven another 2 minutes come on guys going now Ariel ready Chef thank you come on guys come on coming to the p and that’s it in the end despite some bumps on the road both Kevin and Dave would have strong services with Dave being happy with his performance proving he could indeed run the kitchen so with that Dave’s Running house kitchen is over and now his fade is simply in the hands of ramsy and safe to say the waiting game was an absolute torous one for Dave I have the sinking feeling that I just didn’t quite have the same performance Kevin had just waiting and wondering it’s like killing me eventually Ramsey would call both Kevin and Dave down to Crown a winner and it’s all come down to this can Dave pull off the improbable and win Hell’s Kitchen with one arm or will he fall just short to Kevin’s one-legged [Music] dominance I can’t believe I won and it’s a dream come true I’m totally in a State of Shock I’ve been in so much pain for so many weeks and I had to fight so hard to stay in the competition just so grateful to have earned Chef ramy’s respect welcome the winner of house kitchen Dave and with that Dave Levy is Crown the winner of the six season of Hell’s Kitchen becoming an HK legend in the process so let’s go over his overall run one more time performance-wise he was awful in the challenges but absolutely amazing in the kitchen dominating with one arm and at times working two stations by himself while he wasn’t a stand out leader per se especially early on he absolutely proved he could handle his own and thus this combination was simply too much for Ramsey to overlook edit wise he had a pretty clear Winner’s edit as while he was quiet in the beginning he essentially became the main point of the season after he broke his wrist which to be fair it would be kind of hard to ignore him regardless while he did have a couple of surprising villainess and bad moments edit wise for a winner his edit was most extremely positive with some obvious foreshadowing leading to not only a great win performance-wise but a satisfying win for the audience overall Dave Levy’s story in Hell’s Kitchen was not only great but all around iconic as his legacy and pure determination will always live on in the Hell’s Kitchen Lore so get out of there
