I have only ever water bath and steam canned so I am excited for the new possibilities. Also where can I find a place to have it tested? I read one should do that?

I don’t see a pressure weight. You’ll need a rack for the bottom. You may want to change out the seal and pressure plugs. Also take the lid and have them test the gauge at an agricultural extension office for free or send it to Presto which is more of a hassle and there is the expense of shipping, or buy a new one. Accurate pressure is important.

[This web address](https://www.healthycanning.com/presto-pressure-canner-manual/) has presto canner manuals. It also has lots of trustworthy info you will need.

[This address](https://www.healthycanning.com/usda-complete-guide-home-canning/) is for the USDA canning manual online also from healthy canning which you can download in a single PDF. Has instructions and recipes.

No weight. You can buy the one referenced above or you can buy a 3 part weight that makes the pressure gauge an obsolete decoration.
It also needs some type of rack for the bottom of the canner.

You can Google the number stamped on the canner, to get pdf instruction book.
