Featuring: broccoli three ways (stems, leaves and florets), heirloom tomatoes with oregano and basil
Not from my garden: tilapia, garlic, black wild rice

The broccoli was sautéed in olive oil with garlic, but each part was cooked separately due to different cooking times and I added some sun dried tomatoes to the leaves.

The tomatoes and herbs were sliced thin and tossed with a bit of olive oil and salt.

The rice was cooked in a rice cooker at 1:2 ratio of rice to water by volume.

The tilapia was prepared by my husband, so I’m not sure exactly what he did, but he did it in the style “ al mojo de ajo” (so a lot of garlic was involved).

The meal wear enjoyed with my parents, who were invited to share the bounty 🙂
