My first job was Freddy’s so these are essentially the same thing, but made with more love! I think Freddy’s teaches the best method where you orbit-form the patties while smashing; gets you those crispy edges while leaving a dome in the middle so it’s still juicy. I’m personally not a fan of smashing the whole patty flat to the grill.
