Been without one for years, today was my birthday and my wife got me a new one! Doing it up proper with the brisket on white oak. She’s tuned in right at 250. Can’t wait to see results in the morning!

Congrats! I had a chargriller for years and loved it. You can add some firebricks to insulate if you feel you’re burning through too much fuel/not holding temp.

Got the same grill about 6 years ago. Still going strong. Sanded it down and Repainted it a couple years ago.

You knocked over a beer already before even taking the stickers off! 😂

Have the same one, purchased last year. I would highly recommend adding fire bricks to the cook chamber to help regulate temperature. And expect the paint to peel. Had to do a lot of scraping inside. Also Ive found the thermometer reads about 30 degrees higher than what it is at the rack. Other than that I enjoy cooking on mine.
