I want to make some black pasta for an event coming up for kids. I cannot use squid ink (too many issues with flavor and allergies) and the internet masses have scared me away from charcoal, even though the amount would be minimal for use.

Any other recommendations? Experienced Sfoglinas out there that know the pros and cons firsthand? Picture is of the shape I’m hoping to use it for (Honeybees).

    Just use gel food coloring it’s high pigment and the gel doesn’t mess with texture or moisture too much
