The more chocolate, the better.

Also. Would browning the butter affect the consistency of the cookie when baked?

I used the Levain bakery cookies recipe, ended up not exactly the same but not bad, I swear!

I feel like your doggy is thinking, I’m here for a good time not a long timeπŸ˜‚ browning the butter wouldn’t be much different than melted butter in texture, i do usually use softened and browned for mine because sometimes too much melted butter can make the cookies too greasy and flat. Browned also gives you a nutty flavor that’s delicious in cookies

Why was I expecting the 2nd pix to be of the dog with a cookie or two in his mouth?!

  4. Great pics. Not only can I imagine that these have that perfect chewy, moist, chocolatey bite, but your dog is absolutely adorable!

I just saw this and told my husband β€œthis is how you look when I make chocolate chip cookies!”

Suggestion: make one cookie with no chocolate chips for your pup! It’s a wonderful special occasion treat for them πŸ™‚

  7. Browning the butter adds a great flavor but some of the moisture evaporates. It is suggested to add a tablespoon of plain greek yogurt to add it back in.
