Nailed it. After seeing this and a few other posts, I’m looking forward to trying the whole grilled onion slab. I don’t know how I never thought of it. It’s attractive and there’s no such thing as too much onion on my burger.

let me help dispose of the failed attempts

Literally everything I’d want in a burger. Solid

  7. You probably already realized it, but from my experience putting the tomato slice with sauce right on top of the heel makes it super slippery. I usually put down lettuce first, then tomato

You know, I know the goal of saucing the bottom is to create a barrier so the burger juices don’t get the bun soggy, but half of these pics looks like the sauce is spilling out and making a mess anyways… either way looks pretty good!

  9. Looks amazing, personally I like the tomato between the burger and lettuce so it doesn’t wilt but yours didn’t seem to

Only thing wrong is that tomato goes on top. Every time. No exceptions.

    Looks awesome otherwise though!

Lettuce goes on first to keep the bun from going soggy

A good stack to be sure. I would just tone down the lettuce and the onion.

It’s not my favorite variety but I’d still pay for that.
