We had a wonderful time at Providence. It’s been 2 years since we’ve been there. We did the tasting menu. My favorite was the House made Hawaiian Dark Chocolate with Peanut and Barley. Their chocolate is made in house including the roasting. It has different textures (peanuts) and this amazing bourbon caramel sauce. My least favorite was the a5 wagyu supplement- it wasn’t as photogenic, and none of the flavors (nettle) stood out especially since it replaced my favorite wagyu cigars.

We went to Melisse (2) two months ago, and while the food was more innovative and unique, the service at Providence was superior and impeccable. At Melisse, the servers did their job but at Providence, the servers made us feel welcome, answered questions about their garden, bees and roasting room. They made us feel at ease and Providence will be my go to 2.
