Strongly encourage the Kyclades salad, grilled sardines, grilled clams, grilled calamari, and filet of sole. And lemony potatoes with every entree. Taverna Kyclades is the place everyone who visits me regularly will always demand we go.

Oh man, I lived in Astoria 20+ years ago and that was my splurge when I was in my early 20s. Glad to hear they’re still thriving!

It’s very good, I would say it’s a tad overpriced for Greek but its solid. As a Greek I do wish they had a few more traditional Greek dishes such as moussaka, avelegmno soup, saganaki or fried feta, pasticchio.
A great option in the city at a good price point (for Manhattan) is Village Taverna near Washington Square Park

Looks good! What did you think?
I was there Thursday. Some of the best Greek I’ve had in Astoria, every single thing we tried was amazing
Haven’t seen fried anchovies like that for a while might have to return there
How about the dessert?!?!?

Classic. Love the salmon steaks they make.
