Yeah, they’re called shiroi koibito (白い恋人, white lover). They’re ‘langue de chat’ biscuits with white chocolate in the middle. Really tasty!

Yeah, got a box of these as a gift when I visited my friend in Sapporo. They are very much like Milanos, except they have different flavors as you noted. They also come in pretty, decorative tins because they are popular gift items for visitors or guests.

I believe that is from Hokaido’s chocolate factory. Shiroi Koibito “white lover”. My coworkers giggled about the name when I brought them back as omiage. They’re well known throughout Japan.
