[Music] [Applause] [Music] hi guys it’s Tara tom the inside stylist where I am helping you make the best version of yourself from the inside out and today I was looking through some recipes on Google because many of you have been asking what can I make for the holidays like what can what would be a good dish you’re looking for recipes to take over to your family gatherings that are healthy for you to eat and so what I found was on the medical medium website there was cauliflower mashed potatoes with mushroom gravy and that just sounded divine so I thought let’s try to make that I’ve never made it before and I thought why not film it and if it turns out great I’ll let you know we’ll find out together I’m sure it’s gonna turn out delicious as everything that I’ve made from the medical medium has been absolutely yummy so we’re gonna give it a shot and I hope that this dish will help you bring a dish to your family gatherings so that all of you can enjoy and be healthier versions of you so let’s get cooking so the first thing that we need to do in this dish is to make the cauliflower mashed potatoes we’re gonna do that by steaming some potatoes it’s gonna be these are two potatoes and I cut them or cubed them quite small because he says to steam them for only 10 to 15 minutes until tender so I figured I normally steam them for a high thirty minutes and they’re bigger in size I thought I should cut them a little smaller today and so I can steam them and get them tender within 10 to 15 minutes next you are going to be putting two cloves of garlic and the last thing that we need to be steaming is one whole head of cauliflower or one large cauliflower they said and then they said to cut them into florets so we’re gonna steam this for a good 10 to 15 minutes so the cauliflower and potatoes were a little hard and I think I needed to actually cut the florets a little smaller so what I did was steamed them for another like 10 minutes and now they’re nice and soft so now we’re gonna transfer all of this into a food processor [Music] [Music] [Music] so now that we finished the cauliflower mashed potatoes it’s time to make the mushroom very mean okay so for the mushroom grade we’re gonna get a large saucepan we’re gonna put in 6 cups of mushrooms I just roughly measured this 6 cups of mushrooms then you’re gonna put in 2 garlic cloves I’m using 3 because they were quite small 1/4 cup of sun-dried tomatoes 1 onion diced you’re gonna add 1/8 of a teaspoon of each of these herbs it’s sage thyme and rosemary then you’re going to add 2 cups of water so what we’re gonna do is cover this and steam this until everything is something what you means by steaming it is you’re going to place this turn it on high and to bring it into a boil and then what you’re gonna do is lower the heat down so that it does a nice little simmer and then you’re kind of covering until all of this is tender okay not that I made this recipe or spoke to him about this recipe I just know this method from his previous recipe on asparagus soup so I know that that’s what he kind of means his version of steaming or this kind of steaming when he adds water to a saucepan covers it and then basically lets it simmer until it is fully cooked I just have to double check on this because it was like spewing over so be careful leave enough of a vent so that this doesn’t the steam doesn’t collect and actually start spewing over but maybe you’re not supposed to cover it I don’t know I covered it but I’m just warning you be careful so from that mixture that we made we are saving on the side one cup of the mushrooms put that aside everything else including the broth is going to go into a blender we’re also going to add 1/4 cup of that a cauliflower mashed potato that we then we’re gonna add half a teaspoon of olive oil and we’re gonna blend this until smooth also when you’re about to blend you want to remove this little cap here on top of the blender cover because the steam from this will need to escape now we just blend in to smooth now let’s put it all together put a little bit of mash and we’re gonna get some of that creamy oh this looks so delicious and then we’re gonna top it off with a couple of mushrooms W put on the side I think we’re gonna need more great than that all right I can’t wait to try this this looks so good look at that okay let’s give it a shot let’s check if this cauliflower with mashed potato with mushroom gravy it’s delicious [Music] oh that’s good that’s really good guys this right here I think people will eat this definitely something I would bring to a get-together it’s perfect for the holidays it reminds you of mashed potatoes and gravy all that stuffing flavors because it has the time the rosemary and sage in here so it kind of ties back to that Thanksgiving or stuffing flavors that you would use normally in turkeys or stuffing or anything during around the holidays so I definitely recommend making this   2. 😮😮 that is such a cool fridge. life goals lol. like your steamer too.

    haha i often just double the amount of garlic from recipes. been doing 3-4 cloves of raw garlic on my salad recently, quite spicy but i like it 🙂 garlic is on the EBV healing foods list so it's a good thing i like it 👍👍
