This one is straight out of the Mediterranean Diet Cookbook for Beginners with a couple of modifications. Goes together in 5 minutes. I make this as a treat on Saturday mornings and enjoy it with a cup of coffee which I also only have on weekends now.

Ingredients:

3/4 cup of 2% Greek yogurt

1 and 1/2 tablespoons of tahini

1 teaspoon of honey

3 dried dates

7 raw almonds

1 large banana

1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Directions:
Mix the yogurt and cinnamon on a serving bowl. In a separate small bowl mix the tahini and honey with a splash of water until velvety consistency. Slice the banana into half inch thick slices and layer over the yogurt on one side of the bowl. Chop the dates and almonds and add to the other side of the yogurt. Pour the tahini sauce over the whole bowl and enjoy.
