I just cooked a prime ribeye from a high end grocery store in California; and in the middle of dinner my mother pulled something from her meat and asked me if it was a worm.. initially I thought definitely not, it’s got to be a tendon or piece of fat… but then I saw it almost looked segmented. Then I looked down at my plate and pulled one from the middle of a slice no where near fat. Any ideas on what these could be?
