Hi! I am an absolute newbie to the mediterranean diet. Basically, I go between super strict meal plans and eating anything and everything. MD just feels like a good middle ground. The focus on carbs feels very foreign to me, but it's a highly revered way of eating for a reason. Anyway, how am I doing do far?

Breakfast: overnight oats with greek yogurt, milk, old fashioned oats, a bit of honey, cinnamon, vanilla, and half an apple

Lunch: "lunch box" with roasted chickpeas, hummus, cucumber, bell pepper, onion, tomato, olives, feta, Mary's gone crackers, topped with an herby olive oil dressing,

Dinner will be: chicken with mushroom, roasted veggies, and couscous

"Dessert" two frozen medjool dates

Anyway, am I doing this right? 😂
