if you want to make better grilled cheese sandwiches try marinating your cheese yeah it does sound ridiculous for marination to be a step of making a grilled cheese sandwich but trust me with a bit of planning and a couple extra minutes of your time you can make a grilled cheese sandwich that will blow your socks off seriously if anybody finds my left sock let me know because I’m still looking for it to marinate the cheese all you have to do is slice your cheese into small pieces pour some olive oil over it and then mix it until the cheese is lightly coated then add salt pepper Italian herb seasoning and some chili flakes if you like spice and a little bit of cumin I also added some sun-dried tomatoes and green olives to mine mix it all again and then let this marinate in your fridge overnight if possible but if you’re impatient and hangry feel free to just make the sandwich now let’s be real you don’t have to follow any of these steps you have free will and I’m just a random person on the internet do whatever you want that being said what I would suggest doing once your cheese is marinated is adding it to a couple slices of sourdough bread I added some mayonnaise in the cheese mixture before closing the sandwich up and toasting it this was seriously one of my favorite grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve made in a while and it was so simple

  2. Ok so I need to ask – what is the exact benefit of an overnight marinade, since the cheese will melt into the ingredients as they cook? If there’s a legit difference between immediate cooking vs letting it sit overnight, I’d love to see a vid showing the difference
