Ordered a nigiri platter, but this one was fancier than usual and some of the best fish I have ever had. Just hoping for some identification so I know how to understand what I liked best. Thank you in advance!

The one with the orange balls(those are ikura) is salmon, the dark red with green on top is lean tuna, the white one next to it is scallop.

My guess is the one second from the top is yellowtail and the one with the black tobiko is either chutoro or otoro. I could be mistaken on those two.

    Unsure of the others

Looks like a great selection of tasty sushi! You might ask the restaurant to confirm? Who and where are they?

    My guess:

    Otoro (really fatty tuna)
    Hamachi (yellowtail)
    Salmon
    Chutoro (fatty tuna)
    Scallop
    Toro (tuna)
    Mackerel
    Cuttlefish
    Red snapper

Apparently no one knows the difference between red snapper and tilapia
