[Music] if you’re not a fan of salads it’s probably because the ones you’ve had wen’t done properly a good salad obviously needs fresh ingredients but more importantly it needs to be seasoned properly and proper seasoning isn’t just salt and pepper it needs a good amount of herbs and spices f is one of those salads that’s seasoned to Perfection so I thought it’d be a great one to share so let’s get into it for this you’ll need two loaves of Arabic bread a head of Roma lettuce two large Tomatoes two Persian cucumbers four to five radishes two stocks of green onion a cup of fresh mint a cup of fresh parsley 1/4 cup of lemon juice 1/4 cup of olive oil 3 tbsp of sumach and salt and pepper to taste fatou is known for its crunchy pita chips and before I get into this if you just want to use store-bought chips to make this a bit easier and more practical than do that but if you want to be extra then you can follow along preheat your oven to 400 F and cut the loaves of Peter bread into 1/2 in squares [Music] spread them across a large baking tray and bake for 10 minutes until lightly toasted remove and set aside [Music] [Music] and now the real work begins I’m going to first wash and dry the lettuce then thinly cut and add to a large mixing bowl he [Music] next I’m going to pick fresh mint and parsley wash and dry thinly cut and add to the Bowl [Music] finally I’ll wash the radish green onion cucumbers and tomato slice and add to the Bowl [Music] for the dressing add olive oil lemon juice salt pepper and sumach to a small bowl and whisk it well [Music] it’s important to keep the chips salad and dressing separate until you’re just about to serve otherwise it’s all going to get soggy and wilted when it’s time to eat add everything to a large serving Bowl mix together and dig in [Music] [Music] and now for my favorite part I just want you guys to hear how crunchy this is toasted to Perfection all right I’m going to dig in give you an honest [Music] review oh yeah [Music] mhm oh my God that’s so good I can’t think of anything that can top this with how fresh it is how bright it is the different textures you get in it and then the flavor and the fragrance of everything in there it’s really really strong this is how you should make a salad you shouldn’t be dumping a bunch of ranch dressing on it or blue cheese dressing you just need quality ingredients some good olive oil some good lemon juice good herbs and some good spices and you’re good to go one more bite mhm mhm
