The title is what it says, I'm trying to do the no ADDED sugar challenge for a year or so, (cheat days allowed after a month by my own discretion), while allowing for negligible carbs (a tortilla a day, for example)

**Inspiration is this guy: https://youtu.be/q8K1rjS5Jb8?si=pUBKb_CjPmR46hB9

My diet: pretty much as little junk food as possible.

I know that if I have the resources I can mentally power through but I am afraid of getting loose skin so I want to lose only 2 pounds a week. I don't want to eat 1000 calories and lose energy and develop permanently flabby skin.

For reference, I am 19, 208 pounds (recently gained within a year) and I plan to drink a gallon of water a day, and at minimum 8 cups of water per day (I heard this helps loose skin not exist)

  1. Are my fears/caloric "obsessions" founded?
  2. What subreddit will actually let me post my VERY specific requests? If not this one please provide feedback and I will adjust accordingly.
  3. How do I not lose a beep ton of money trying to fit my diet? (Im a part time grocery store employee)
  4. what misconceptions are involved in this plan, if any?
  5. what are some rules of thumb that can help me stay on this low-carb, higher-everything else diet when I am away from home.
  6. what is this low-added sugar, low-junk food, low-carb plan even called?

Edit: my country is the USA
