Fine fleur in Antwerp. Located in a lovely old building in a somewhat posh part of Antwerp a stone throw away from Het Gebaar*.

The restaurant is run by Thomas Diepersloot and Jacob Jan Boerma. Boerma was the chef of De Leest*** until they decided to close the restaurant end of 2019.

The restaurant space is tranquil and a combination of old and new in a balanced understated manner.

We enjoyed the 6 course tasting menu and the food was lovely. The hand of Boerma shows in the exquisitely balanced flavors while still not playing safe.

For me the langoustine, the sea bass and the desert were stand outs. Wouldn’t be surprised if this is on track to get a second *.

Wine list is extensive with great options including a broad champagne offering. Some prices a bit on the higher end but good options available from a pricing perspective.
