  1. Never heard of savory jello when I was a kid in the 50โ€™s. Mom made meatloaf. We had TV dinners once in a while. Never had lobster newberg. Mom made tuna noodle casserole- hated it. She made chipped beef- hated it. Hated sweet potatoes. She made liver a lot. HATED IT. never heard of pineapple ham loaf. Never heard of turkey tetrazzini in the 50s.

  2. The original tv dinners tasted more natural. The oven bake helped with the flavor over todayโ€™s microwave meals. Spam fried in a pan in slices or cubes is delicious. While you may avoid Spam, it literally kept people alive during and after WW2. Jello salads are a crime against food.

  3. The original TV dinners had bigger meat servings. If you see the chicken you got 3 while pieces of chicken not little nuggets.

  4. Spam and eggs
    Spam in chili
    Spam and cheese sandwich
    Spam and mac/cheese
    Spam everything
