Did you factor in the 90% waste, dialing in your $45/bag of anaerobic thermal shock single origin kissed by the farmer himself?

I didn’t buy my machine, but it’s a cheap one. I did just receive my grinder which is just a DF54. So in half a year, I make back my money as I only make it at home on the weekends. I get free coffee at work during the week and it does the job and I’m not that picky.

If you switch to this setup off of a 3 latte/day habit, it’ll pay for itself in a year.
Like, my coworkers and I kick around a spreadsheet just to inure people to the lolarious cost of our home coffee bars.

You can for sure if you are in it for the long run. I have a LM Micra and I will break even in 2 years

That’s what I told my husband to convince him. Turns out on top of buying entry-level machines to justify the “savings”, I also require “fancy” beans and continue to buy coffee outside 😂

you do, until you dont.
You were lied to.
And 45 years to break even on that grinder 😅
Last year I spend $5500 on my machine and grinder. Already paid for itself. Now I’ll be saving $4000-5000 per year between my wife and I. Love it!
Same lol
That made me laugh
Well… you were told the truth… if you live near here. It wouldn’t take too many of these to offset the cost.
