Then I used my mom’s icing recipe. I’m sure this can be found elsewhere. I just asked her how she normally makes it and this is what she told me:
1 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
4 Tbsp Milk
~1 Cup Powdered Sugar
Put the butter and milk in a microwave safe bowl and heat until butter has melted (about 30 seconds). Then add the powdered sugar 1/4 cup at a time until it reaches the desired consistency.

Cinnamon rolls are a lot of work, but always worth it.

It was a bit of a Frankenstein recipe.
I followed [Babish’s recipe](https://youtu.be/QsMNoGvPAJ4?si=F2K0y3kBqwivaamz) for the dough. And baking and icing instructions.
Note: I did have to add more flour. Somewhere around a 1/2 cup more by the end.
Then I followed [Brian Lagerstrom’s recipe](https://www.brianlagerstrom.com/recipes/giant-cinnamon-rolls) for the filling. I just thought creaming the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt would make it easier to spread. It was.
