We're in town for the week to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and I made a reservation at Michael's a month in advance. It's a really nice steakhouse in the historic part of town. We each got the filet, rare. Her's a 6 ounce and mine a 10. We both opted for the Point Reyes blue cheese crust and red wine Bordelaise. It was cooked to perfection and I couldn't recommend this place enough.

I haven’t tried blue cheese on a steak but I see the appeal. And I love point Reyes bleu…. Any trick to it? just put it on top while the steak rests?

My wife and I are in St Augustine 7/17-18. We already have Llama booked for the 17th and was thinking something more casual for the 18th. I’m always hesitant to spend big bucks at a steakhouse bc we have great ones in Orlando and I make a really good one at home. I may book here after your review.
