Homemade cherry Pop-Tarts, but they feel more like Toaster Strudels

   I’ve seen a bunch of people try making homemade Pop Tarts on social media, so I wanted to make my own with homemade cherry jam and vanilla pie crusts! I think they ended up looking more like Toaster Strudels, but my husband prefers those over Pop Tarts anyway, so no big loss there lol

   The icing is just cherry jam mixed with powdered sugar!

   Whatever you decide on calling them, doesn’t matter…if they taste as good as they look then they must be amazing. I wanted to lick and smell my screen at the same time, impressive.

   Maybe try adding a tray on top to it’s still flaky but doesn’t puff up as much, pop tarts are pretty dense

   I just made some of these! I did cherry and then the other day I tried blackberry. Both great. I want to try blueberry, maybe even apple
