beet soup – this was the most memorable appetizer for me, people say it’s too sweet but i thought it was delicious and unique.

ice cream (ft. anniversary dessert) – didn’t get a good photo, but basically a cold sesame lollipop. a staff member overheard me saying how lovely the anniversary dessert looked and brought us one even though it wasn’t a special occasion, this made the experience pretty special:)
overall fun meal and great experience. they have a “skewer” theme which is kind of cute, and i found the presentation of the dishes to be quite elegant. there’s just too much competition for korean fine dining in the city for kochi to get much love – but it’s great for if you ever want a spontaneous last-minute reservation.
