Chorizo Spaghetti

    Here’s something I threw together last night! Glad I wrote it down. If you’re a fan of spice, you might like it.

    – 1 tbsp neutral oil
    – half of a large yellow onion, diced
    – 1 tbsp minced garlic
    – 9oz chorizo
    – 8oz tomato paste (1 can + 2tbsp)
    – 10oz chicken broth
    – 6oz water
    – 1 tsp onion powder
    – 1/2 tsp garlic salt
    – 2 bay leaves
    – dried parsley (optional)
    – 1 tbsp red pepper flakes (optional)
    – top with mexican crema (optional)

  2. Try mixing the pasta into the sauce. That’s the way it’s supposed to be done and makes all the difference.
