Hey! It looks like you posted an image!

If this is a photo of one of your cooks, maybe share the recipe and techniques
used, as it’s almost guaranteed one of the first questions you will be asked!

    *What seasoning did you use?

*How long did you cook it, and at what temperature?

*Did you use any special tricks or techniques?

    Traeger on!

    Hi everyone,

I’m thinking of getting a Traeger Pro 575, but I’ve got some questions.

First, I’ve got some space outside in front (not much, but you can see next to the grill would be large enough). I also have a semi-enclosed area in the porch (bug screen). So my questions:

-Would it be safe to keep the traeger in one or both places? Outside has better ventilation, but the porch has more space. Would the risk of fire be too much? How about aeration on the porch, would carbon monoxide be an issue? How about damage from smoke to the wood?

-On the issue of safety, I’ve heard different ideas on leaving the traeger with no supervision, do you guys think it would be ok to leave it for a few hours? Or is the risk too high?

    Thanks!

I wouldn’t. There are too many things that go wrong if not supervised. Example: I had some pellets that spilled after a horrible cleanup job (self inflicted) and the darn thing caught fire.

Not worth the risk. Grease fires happen.
