I’m an artist on a mission to paint as many Chicago hot dog stands as I can. This week I painted The Clark Street Dog! What stand should I paint next?

    Parasi’s just east of Narragansett on 63rd in Garfield Ridge neighborhood. It’s been there for years. I’d buy that from ya…

    This is amazing, I used to live off burling and get cheese fries from there (drunk) all the time. This place holds a special place in my heart

    My wife (gf at the time) threw up in that bathroom after the hawks won the cup in 2013. I ordered a hot dog afterwards and I was pretty sure she would never talk to me again.

    But Parky’s first. It was my grandpa’s favorite. Took my mom there a few months ago for her 80th birthday.

    I love that you’re capturing these quintessentially Chicago scenes. And I’m sure I’m not the first person to say this, but you really need to make a coffee table style book with all your art. I would totally buy it, and lots of others definitely would too.
