Do you like the style of pape clement? It’s very international now. The wine is good, glossy, well made, but could be anywhere. Nothing that screams pessac leognan terroir. Sounds like you already grabbed some, so I don’t think you need more perfunctory wine at this price point.
You can get domaine de chevalier for less or pay a little more and get stalwart like haut bailly.
Or les carmes if you want something truly distinctive.
