…and I'm ok with that! I love to bake but don't have the patience for decorating. So I rarely make cakes. But here's my Dulce de Leche cake with cinnamon frosting. I'm seeing my brother tomorrow and wanted to surprise him with a belated birthday cake.
Cake is a Pampered Chef mix. Frosting is Sally's Baking Addiction (snickerdoodle cupcakes).

Maybe not but for the record, I was scrolling and thought “I’d like to eat that” when I saw it. My son was also looking over my shoulder and said “oooo what’s that”. He’s also the biggest fan of baked goods.
At first I thought it was a very spiky pavlova and still thought it looked delicious, and now that I know it’s a cake, I still think it looks good to eat!
I actually prefer imperfect-looking desserts. The ones that look absolutely perfect never taste as good.

I feel your pain. I can bake tasty items but the are NOT pretty. Hasn’t stopped anyone from eating them though.
