I’m in Wisconsin and while I obviously haven’t had every pizza in the state, there is nothing that compares to Maria’s Pizza in Milwaukee for me. I drive 50 miles both ways at least once a week to get this pizza. I would love to know the recipe, but have never been able to find it. Which is fine.

What’s your states best?

Hot Mama’s & Rocco’s, followed by Big Mario’s (and I can walk to all of them 😂).

    Oregon.

Ken’s Artisan Pizza (voted one of the best pizza places in the world- neopolitan style)

Apizza Scholls (among the best pizzas in the US – Newhaven style).

I’m in Washington State. My fave is a NY style spot in West Seattle called Supreme. I hear there’s a place near Mount Rainier that’s supposed to be incredible, but I haven’t tried it myself.

I’m in Wisconsin too! Would you drive from Madison for this pizza? Curious to check it out next time I fly out of MKE.

Oklahoma I’m going with Sam and Ella’s though there’s been some personal happenings with the owners and it’s hit kind of a rough patch as of late. I’m praying it returns to it’s former glory

My boyfriend makes pizza and since then I have not been able to enjoy pizza from a restaurant. Closest I guess would be Red Devil since its a smaller chain.

Waiting to see other people chime in.

    Fellini’s is probably my favorite.

There are a lot of good places, but nothing great that I’ve come across. I’ve probably eaten them all at least 2-3 times.

I live in Canada, but have been to various states over my lifetime.

Because you say state, I’ll oblige.

Sven and Ole’s Pizza in Grand Marais, Minnesota.

I went to GM several times as a child and teen; Sven and Ole’s was always the best part of the trip.

    I miss their pizza.

  18. No one mentioned South Carolina yet.

Myle’s Pizza Pub in Greenville is phenomenal, and unlike any pizza you have ever had. It used to be in Ohio until a few years ago. The owner moved to South Carolina and reopened the pizza restaurant there. It’s a medium thick crust with toppings under the cheese, and they get tons of color on the cheese.

The garlic bread with cheese is also amazing. It’s served as a partially-sliced loaf, so you get crispy cheese on the outside and gooey cheese/bread on the inside.

The pizzas are so popular with alumni of my alma mater, that they par-bake and freeze them for shipping. And people order them to be shipped, even though it can be a few hundred dollars for 5 pizzas.
