The steak itself looks like it wasn’t a consistent thickness, the front has too much grey band, while the back looks decent. I’d bet a better cut would result in a more consistent result. I’d still eat it.

I normally don’t eat medium rare/rare (i am so sorry sub, this is why im here, to change my mind) but this looks absolutely delicious!!!

Not bad! A little more done than I prefer, but it sure looks tasty. One tip though: when you eat it, slice your bites laterally across those chunks. It’ll make the bites more tender if you cut across the grain of the meat.
