I made a cheese pizza testing out some Stanislaus Full Red, I typically use Tomato Magic. Like it, but didn’t realize how thick the sauce was going to be, had to water it down a bit. Baked in my home oven at 525 on steel.

    How long do you preheat for to get that nice spotted blackening on the bottom? My NY pies never look that good

    Those slices look perfectly cheesy and delicious! Baking on steel at 525 must have given them a great crispy crust. Experimenting with different sauces can be fun too, and it sounds like you nailed it even with the thicker consistency. Enjoy every bite!
