Kill it. Mercilessly. I’ve destroyed entire squash leaves in the process just to be sure I’ve gotten rid of it. The leaves grow back. Slash and burn

Time to break out the flame thrower.
I am having some pretty decent success with vining Tatume squash this year. Much better compared to past years and bush varieties.

I am taking this year off from squash but am contemplating a return in 2025 with a powerful cordless vacuum. I’m curious if others have employed that strategy with much success

I spent part of my day injecting our summer squash with BT. I hope it keeps these bastards at bay.

I just watched on YouTube this man sprays his squash with watered down whey and it not only keeps the powdery residue off but the bugs too.
Also- this one sounds really stupid but I’m curious to see the opinions – another guy I talked to gets rid of aphids with cheap beer being poured on the plant. Would that even remotely work?
Caught one that’s been terrorizing me the last few weeks. Trapped it in my toddlers bug cage and then let her die a slow hot death in my pop up greenhouse on a 91 degree day. 🤫
