Made some Onigiri for the first time with a mold. I’ve never been good at hand rolling it so I’m glad I purchased one to help! The filling was pretty yummy. I used salmon, kewpie, sweet chili sauce, and a local hot sauce since I’m out of sriracha.
I used short grain rice, but to be honest I don’t think I cooked it correctly because it was just a tad underdone. I was using a 1:1 ratio on water to rice, like I do with long grain, so I think that was the problem.
