[Music] hello my old school Soul family Chef Jeffrey back with another video all right y’all I’m G show y’all a uh yeah y’all I’m in Dallas right now Arlington uh right now I don’t shoot a lot of videos from Arlington but this is a very quick video and something I keep in my refrigerator either here in oron or in Katie it’s summertime y’all and y’all know I love me some salads especially salad that I can do quickly put in the refrigerator um let it set up this particular salad y’all it’s similar to a Greek salad but it has no olives have no uh parsley no herbs in it I call this my mock Greek salad all it is is fresh tomatoes fresh cucumbers and I use the cucumbers with the seeds in it y’all you can buy the English cucumber English cucumbers the Cucumbers that come in the plastic we call those English cucumbers uh that has no seeds in it and then feather and then also my Wishbone or you can use the uh hidden valer ran also Italian dressing very simple Sal very easy y’all it has a combination of the coolness of the cucumber and the I love anything that has a sour taste to it so you got the sourness you know of the Italian dress and then little saltiness of the uh feather cheese and of course the freshness of the Tomato it’s summertime you want a quick salad this salad good to travel with it’s good for room you can do it room temperature I mean I wouldn’t let it set out like get hot but if you’re going on a picnic or something and you got in refrigerating you taking it somewhere it’s going to set out a couple hours like like potato salad whatever it’s fine it’s fine so anyway let me mix this bad boy together like I said I got me some uh fresh tomatoes here fresh tomatoes fresh cucumbers all this peel I like I said I leave the season these some feda cheese here you can use whatever cheese you want but y’all F just puts this thing over the top and then like I say I use my you shake it up good I want just allil in there I want the whole experience and I just put my dressing in there just like this I love a lot of dressing now you can do like me too as well if I’m going to put in the refrigerator I won’t put as much dressing in it I’ll uh we’re going to put a little salt and pepper this as well y’all and then at the table I can always add more dressing hold on just a second y’all put a little salt and pepper in there the salt and pepper hold on y I’ll be right back sorry about that all right y’all I’m back here okay okay we’re going to put a little just a little salt and pepper in here y’all just a little not much cuz remember the cheese is the cheese is salty as well got to mix that up I like to let this sit about 10 or 15 minutes kind of let the flavors marry together oh my God you can just smell the uh the tomatoes and the Cucumber freshness of it y’all look at that at this y’all oh my God now what I’ll do a bowl here that I’m going to put in the refrigerator in put in that bowl voila how easy is that y’all how easy is that to have your sat it like that so anyway I’ll step out do this world famous YouTube thumbnail and we’ll be right back y’all all right y’all we are back here I’m going to get me a little out of here y’all put on my plate here oh my good this this here like I said all I do I put my little lid on there throw that in the refrigerator and we good to go let me give y’all a closeup of this look at that y’all look at that going in here give me a good bite here me a good bite here look at that bite right there y’all look at that bite right there go ahead and y’all the longer it sits in the fridge the better it gets because the flavor married together so well who doesn’t like a good you come in tomato salad right do get much better than that let get much better than that give me some uh baked chicken or uh even a steak or baked potato even brisket salmon said you can always add or subract whatever kind of dressing I love that sess of that y anyway this a little short video for y’all not pro what they say I ain’t going proong the time today anyway let me Goose this video out if you like this video please share please comment Please Subscribe please follow my other social media account Facebook YouTube Instagram Twitter twiv Pinterest Tik Tok old school.com # 2024 stop wish and start old school soul food till next time have a blessed old school soul food day and I will see y’all in the next video love y’all bye
