    Not everything needs truffle oil!

Seared scallops are probably my top 5 favorite foods. These look perfect!

The delicate sweetness of the scallops pairs wonderfully with the bright acidity of lemon and the earthy richness of truffle oil. It’s a combination that elevates the flavors without overwhelming the natural taste of the scallops. The searing creates a beautiful caramelized crust on the outside while keeping the inside tender and juicy.

I add a light sprinkle of flour to get a nice crust on scallops. Adding butter, garlic, lemon wedges, and basil to finish off is a nice combo

Wouldn’t the oil at the end make the sear soggy?

Absolutely delightful! The combination sounds like a culinary treat. How did they turn out?
