I used to just add some oregano, but I’m digging this blend lately.

Penzey’s is the bomb! I love everything they do.

  2. Lost_Gene

I add spiceology’s pizza seasoning, it’s pretty good.

  3. ZealousidealBird9052

    Yes, plain dried oregano only.

  4. thestral_z

Nope. I work hard to make the pizza speak for itself. A few high quality ingredients are better in my opinion.

Edit: I didn’t know I had to agree with OP if I didn’t want downvoted.

When I do, I like to add it to the dough. Za’atar is a great option too.

  6. I prefer to leave politics out of my pizza. No Penzeys for me.

I’ll often use dried oregano and basil from our yard though, instead of fresh.

Maybe with a pomodoro slice a little bit of dried basil.

I usually use dry herbs before, then I eat too much pizza 😉

Any pizza place in NYC… salt, pepper, granulated garlic, red pepper flakes, oregano, parmesan….

The only dried herb that I use is dill on my ham and pickle pizza, I dust the pizza with dried dill after it comes out of the oven

I know I do! Add a little of their powdered garlic on store-bought pizza, too. A little goes a long way with their stuff.

Slap Ya momma Cajun seasoning is great on a pepperoni pie.

A little goes a long way on pizza. However it makes any store bought pasta sauce 10x better and perfect when cooking Italian sausage

Always when we make frozen pizzas. Kicks it up just right.

Penzy’s stores are so fun to shop in. They are high quality too.

+1 for a sprinkle. +2 for Penzys +3 for that blend

Herbes de Provence. A farmers market pizza spot used to do that and I’ve never looked back. A bit more subtle and refined than pungent oregano. Theirs was a chanterelle pizza which was incredible but I put it on almost any pie.

Herbs and sometimes capers! That mix looks legit!

  20. BigWillyStylin

Hell, I just about love ❤️ all their products. That said, their southwest chili blend seasoning the bomb-ditty 😊

Where I live you won’t find pizza without it. We have pizza seasoning (oregano, basil, thyme) So I was surprised to learn that it’s not like this everywhere.

  22. StupidGuy6969

I use “italian herb blend” from morton & basset. Goes pretty well with most types of pasta dishes too

Black garlic powder….thank me another time 🤟🏻👍🏻

  24. TheRealAntiher0

I’m a whore for garlic powder and oregano. Since I was a kid. Blame dad from Queens.

  25. ElCannoli

I will when at late night slice only joints, but other than that no. Weird, because they an are very good addition to cheese pizzas.

  26. _B_Little_me

That penzy spice is meant to go on before cooking…

  27. Admirable_Average_32

Ooohh!! Penzey’s! That was my jam when I lived in the burgh.
